We expect it to come with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged BoosterJet petrol mill, which would develop 110 bhp of power and yield 170 Nm of torque. The current hatchback version comes with 1.3-litre DDiS diesel and 1.2-litre VVT petrol engines.
Last but not the least, is the Wagon R 7-seater car. The Suzuki fanatics are extremely excited about this vehicle. The existing Wagon R hatchback needs no introduction and is highly appreciated by its users. Hence, the multi-seater would undoubtedly create a place for itself in the Indian auto market. Expected to reach the showrooms by end of this year, the diesel coupe would come with a 0.8-litre DDiS mill and the petrol version would get a 1.0-litre K-Series or the K10 motor used by Alto.
