Why You Should Always Use Genuine Spare Parts for Tata Indigo

A car is a huge investment for any individual in India, which is why it is important to keep it in the best condition always. You can get the most out of your car when you use genuine parts and accessories. Here are some top reasons why you should always use Genuine Spare Parts for Tata Indigo.

  1. Safety: The number one, and often overlooked factor, when it comes to using proper spares is that of safety. Often, people tend to compromise on safety if it means that they can cut down on a few hundred rupees. In the long run, your family’s safety is priceless. That is why you should make every effort to spend wisely on spare parts for your car.
  2. Durability: Giving your car for service is a long and painful procedure. It means that the car will be in the workshop for long stretches of time, during which you either have to depend on public transport or your trusted two wheeler. You can reduce the number of visits to the service centre if you use the right spare parts, as these will have a longer life even with constant use.
  3. Cost effective: Many people believe that original spare parts list and accessories are too expensive and therefore should be avoided at all costs. However, when you go in for original spare parts for Tata Indigo, you are making an investment towards a part that will outlive an inferior quality part. That means it would last longer, reducing your money spent on getting a cheap quality part replaced two or three times. Buy original the first time round and give yourself a break.
  4. Quality: The quality of a spare part should be its most telling feature. Spares that come from obscure companies usually are made of low quality material. In the case of cheap wheel covers, for instance, low quality ones may not even fit your wheel as expected, leading to them coming off just as you are driving at a nominally high speed. Failing Car Heater | Spare Parts for Tata 407

Failing Car Heater : Causes and Symptoms

The auto part experts of the leading suppliers of Spare Parts for Tata 407 know how critical car heater issues can be especially during the winter. You can avoid getting crushed under the financial burden of getting your car heater replaced by not letting the minor car issues develop into seemly larger ones by identifying and taking immediate action on evident mechanical issues throughout the warmer months. Though car heater issues can come as a major burden and drawback during the winter, car heater problems during sunny and sultry summers can pose as a major automobile concern than many vehicle owners may realize. The crux of car heater problems generally lies within the coolant system and may compromise engine lubrication when ignored.

Today in this blog as the highly acclaimed suppliers of Spare Parts for Tata Indica, we will talk about why car heater reaches the point of failure in the first place. But before we get down straight to why, how and when car heating system decides to stop working, let’s have a brief understanding of the working of the car heating system.

How does a car heater in a vehicle work?

Every single automobile on road today is equipped with a heating system which is engineered to make use of heat from the engine which is converted into heated air which is then blown into the car cabinet. Few! Once the engine has properly warmed up after running for a considerable amount of time, the heated coolant is then transferred into the heater core which is located inside the passenger compartment. A heater core is a heat exchanger similar to a radiator. The heater and the air conditioner evaporator core; both are boxed in the same unit called a heater box or plenum. A plenum is responsible for diverting air to various vents through several air deflection doors and ducts. The blower motor extracts heat from the heater core and, segregating heat from the coolant flowing through it. The antifreeze then carries on to the water pump. A fan (the same one used by the air conditioner) blows air through the heater core, with the heated air then blow out through the car’s vents and warm up the interior.

Why Won’t My Car Warm Up?

Since the car heater has a direct connection with the engine coolant system, to get to the bottom of the problem, it is important to take note of few things. If you find that the thermostat isn’t moving much from the lowest reading, or the car isn’t cooperating or running properly for more than a few minutes on a cold, chilly day, then know that your car heating system is rolling out signs of failure. Here are few things to look for to determine the root cause of the problem and must be treated accordingly. If the repair is simple and can be done at home, then do it right away, if not, then don’t waste in getting your car to the professional mechanic.

Low Coolant Level: Yes, according to the “popular” mechanic Jose Guzman, you first need to check that the car’s various fluid levels are reaching their optimum level. Be cautious when you check your car for fluid levels, turn off the engine and let the engine cool down. While the engine is cold check the radiator fluid level. Insufficient coolant in the coolant reservoir could be the reason why there is not enough heat being transferred inside the passenger compartment.

Also ReadLet’s Talk About Electric Superchargers

Blown Fuse: Another prominent reason why your car heating system isn’t working properly can be malfunctioning of the electrical system associated with it. A blown fuse which is associated with the control valve can be the reason why the heater isn’t working properly, with a blown fuse of the control valve you’ll notice that the heater is blowing cold air instead of hot. Taking the help of the vehicle owner’s manual get down to the task of locating the control valve fuse mechanism and inspect if it is working just fine. In case you notice a problem, don’t waste another second in getting it replaced.

Faulty Thermostat Valve: Sometimes it is not the heater but the thermostat valve that isn’t working to the best of its capability. For this, you need to inspect the thermostat valve. Start your car and let it run. Meanwhile turn on the car heater. While the engine is warming up, pay close attention to the hot and cold indicators on the dashboard. See if they are changing temperature. If it is taking too long for the indicator to reach the point where the car is warmed up and can now be driven, then there is a problem with a stuck closed/open thermostat valve. This can also be the reason that the cabin isn’t warming up faster.

Control Valve Failure: The heater control valve is a cooling and HVAC system component that allows coolant to flow from the engine to the car heater core, which is located inside the passenger compartment of a vehicle. When the valve is opened, it allows warm engine coolant to pass and into the heater core, so that the hot air can be circulated through the vehicle’s vents. If the control valve is not working properly or is stuck, it will not allow hot air to pass into the heater core, thus the car will not warm up.

Blower Fan Failure: First locate the blower fan inside the dashboard. In almost every car model a blower fan is located underneath most glove compartments. This small fan circulates the warm air in the cabin area. If you don’t see air coming through the air ducts, then it is possible that the fan is not working fine. Referring to the vehicle owner’s manual, locate the position of the fuse box and get to the fan fuse. If the fan fuse is working just fine, then the faulty fan is the reason why your vehicle is not warming up.

Well then, let’s just dig in!

A car cover can do wonders: It is the most basic but most useful thing to begin with for maintaining the paint of your car. If you are parking your car in an open area or on the street, it is recommended to always cover your car with the car cover. This way your car’s paint will be protected from dust, solid particles, grime and from sun damage. Even if it is parked in a garage, it is advisable to cover it, to protect it from alien elements.

Frequent Washing: Scheduling weekly car wash is advisable. The task includes using a car shampoo and thoroughly washing your car tires, exteriors and wiping down interiors, windshield and window glass area.  If you witness bird shit on your car, just wash it away immediately and thoroughly with water. Never use household detergents or liquid soap cleaners to wash your car. They are acidic and harsh in nature and can severely rupture your car’s paint.

Drying your car after wash is mandatory: People go negligent after washing their cars and choose to leave them sloppy and wet, which is a big mistake. Majority of people reckon that the car will dry naturally, but this is where  the car paint will get damaged. Choosing not to dry your car will leave white water marks on the surface that will make your hard work go waste. Make use of a microfiber towel or a weave drying towel that would absorb the water to dry your car.

Cleanse with a clay bar: Make use of a clay bar to clean your car. Clay bar can help you get rid of the unseen alien elements that are stubbornly struck in the paint of your car. Clay bars are beneficial for removing infinitesimal dust particles that may not be visible to the naked eye.  Clay bar cleansing of the car must be followed by a wax polish to sustain the cleanliness.

You need to adamantly follow these tips to protect the paint and shine of your car. But do lets us know which of these tips work best for you in the comments box below.

Great performance and unmatched comfort are hallmarks of these cars. Further, the pricing is also affordable. A few of the bestselling hatchbacks from the stable of Tata are listed below.

The high-performance Bolt

Launched in the beginning of 2015, Bolt is one of the latest hatchbacks in the market today. It is based on the carmaker’s X1 platform, just like the Indica Vista, but of course, is a lot more advanced in terms of features and performance. The Bolt is a manifestation of Tata’s HorizonNext philosophy, which is specially designed keeping the youth of the country in mind. Though overall similar to the Indica, the Bolt has many new features that immediately catch one’s attention. With a redesigned fiasco, revamped headlights & fog lamps, and a revised bumper, the front profile looks every bit as trendy as any high-end car. The Magnificent Range of SUVs from the House of Tata Motors

Tata spare parts

Tata SUVs are revered as one of the most reliable and best performance cars on the Indian roads. The giant manufacturer has produced a number of SUVs over the past few decades. Amongst these, the Safari continues to be a favorite of adventure junkies. Then there is the Nexon and Hexa, which are yet to be launched, but promise a great performance and ample convenience for its passengers. Given below is a brief insight on these robust & power-packed SUVs.

The classy Nexon

Although this car is expected to hit the road some time in 2017, but it has already created a positive buzz. It is anticipated that the car will serve as Tata’s answer to the likes of EcoSport and TUV300. The engine will be, in all possibility, a 1.3 litre multijet diesel engine, capable of producing a maximum of 90 bhp power and 200 Nm torque. The design of the exterior and interior might be borrowed from other successful cars of the same company such as Zest, Bolt, and Tiago.

The uber-stylish Hexa

Another car waiting to be introduced by the auto giant is the Hexa. Expected to be launched in the second half of 2016, the Hexa will greatly benefit from Tata’s new design language, which they call Horizon Next. It will have a powerful engine too, a 2.2 litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, with the ability to churn out 154 bhp of power and 400 Nm of peak torque. The Hexa will have a new design of projector headlamps, fog lamps on the bumper, and a very muscular front grille. The black and silver coloured interior with all the modern amenities and leather upholstery is sure to give the car a classy feel.

The reliable Safari

Safari has been in the market successfully for the better part of two decades. However, keeping in tune with the changing times, the company recently launched the Safari DiCor. While the exterior and the interior have remained more or less similar to its previous version, with only a few tweaks here and there, the major change in the new model has been the engine, which is a 2.2-litre aluminium DiCor one, with peak power and torque of 145 bhp and 320 Nm respectively.
