BP Auto Spares India Discusses About the Two Most Popular Mahindra SUVs

Mahindra has been in the SUV car industry for a long time, and there is hardly any other company that can match up to it in this segment. Its best known products, the Bolero and the Scorpio, are in a league of their own. The carmaker has manufactured other models too, which are equally, if not more, impressive and appealing. The Managing Director of BP Auto Spares India, an auto parts dealer, specializing in Mahindra parts and Mahindra truck parts, talks about some of the latest and leading SUVs from the stable of Mahindra.

He says, “In the SUV market, Mahindra is without a parallel in the country. The latest addition to that already notable spectrum is the NuvoSport, a sub four metre SUV from the automobile giant’s garage. The car, which is based on the tried and tested Scorpio platform, is stunning to look at. The front of the car sports a hexagonal grille with vertical slats. The angular headlamps, front bumper, and the bonnet, are all uniquely designed and appear attractive. The side profile and the rear profile are a near reflection of the Quanto. On the performance front, the NuvoSport comes with a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, which has also been borrowed from the very successful Quanto. It has got a host of other features too, such as power steering, power windows, ABS, and EBD with dual front air bags in all variants, and daytime running lamps, rear spoiler, reverse parking sensors, and height adjustable driver seats in the top-end ones.”

He continues, “Another car that has been making all the right noises is the TUV300. This SUV is for the old school fellows, who like their cars with a ladder on frame platform. The car is traditional in its looks, but has some modern features too, such as the angular lamps, new fog lamps, and rectangular bumpers. The engine that powers this SUV is a 1.5-litre mHawk 80 three-cylinder turbocharged diesel unit with the ability to deliver peak power and torque of 84 bhp and 230 Nm respectively. With an ARAI certified mileage of 18.49 kmpl, this is a car that is easy on the pockets.”

He also says, “Mahindra has made sure that when it comes to buying SUVs, the Indian public is spoilt for choice. Worries about the availability of Mahindra spare parts, including Mahindra Bolero parts and Mahindra Scorpio parts, should not deter anyone from buying these vehicles as these are readily available with our company.”
